Welcome to Manchester Metropolitan University’s MA in English Studies!

Induction Schedule
Induction week begins Monday 17th September
On Tuesday 18th September the following events are scheduled:

 

  • LIBRARY INDUCTION 5.30pm, Sir Kenneth Green Library
  • WELCOME SESSION for new and returning students, from 6.30 – 8.00pm in Geoffrey Manton Atrium

 

Teaching on all core and elective units starts on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th September.

Online Enrolment

  • Login to the online enrolment system using the MMU network ID and password that we have sent you.
  • If you have any questions about your enrolment or are having difficulty using the online enrolment system, please contact the Enrolment Team or your Programme Office on 0161 247 1751.
  • If you are advised that you need to attend a face-to-face enrolment session, please attend the session detailed below.
  • If you have successfully completed online enrolment, you will also need to collect your Student ID card at the session below. You can also collect your Met card at the same time.

Welcome Guide

The MMU Welcome Guide contains useful information and contact details to help you through the first weeks of term.

MyMMU & Email

Login to MyMMU to access your email, library loans and reading lists, finance information, university notices and guides, and links to many other useful resources. You should check your MMU email account regularly for important messages, as it is one of the primary methods we will use to communicate with you.

Moodle

On Moodle you can read course messages, download lecture notes, project briefs and other documents. You will also be able to access timetable information and assessment submission details.
