Congratulations on successfully completing your first year in the English
Department. I hope you have had a relaxing and enjoyable summer and that
you are now ready to embark on the second year of your degree.
Year two is a crucial year as all coursework and examinations from now on contribute
towards your final degree.
We are all committed to your success and want to ensure that you find your studies
