Information and Communications at Manchester Metropolitan University has an international reputation for excellence in teaching and research.

We offer a choice of routes for undergraduate study including Information and Communications, Digital Media and Communications, Digital Media and Web Development.

There are Masters courses in Information Management, Library and Information Management, Informatics and Multimedia Journalism. We also offer doctoral research opportunities.

The Department is also home to the Information Literacy Learning Area of the Learn Higher Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CeTL) and to CeRLIM, the Centre for Research in Libraries, Information and Media.
