Brief Professional Biography


I gained my BA (Hons) History degree and PhD from MMU after returning to study as a mature student.

Research Interests


My research interest are in nineteenth and twentieth century British History, particularly focusing on the development and effectiveness of non-party political women's organisations. I am also interested in the women's movement in interwar Britain and the development of women's activism in party political and non-party political organisations.
